An augmentative of 'pasta' (money in informal speech). Signals that the sum is surprisingly large, often with a hint of admiration or temptation.
Literally uses 'joder' but functions as a fixed exclamation of sarcastic surprise. Common in very informal speech between friends. Tone can range from amused to genuinely annoyed.
A fixed venting expression. The literal meaning is taboo but the phrase is so common it functions like a strong expletive. Intensity depends on tone.
'Vacilar a alguien' means to tease or trick someone, not to hesitate. It implies deliberate provocation or mockery.
Literally 'give raw meat'. Used figuratively when someone provides damaging information or a scandal that others can exploit or run with.
Colarse covers sneaking into a place without permission and queue-jumping. The meaning of 'to slip in uninvited' is not guessable from the verb 'colar' (to strain/filter).
A Basque loanword used affectionately in the Basque Country and sometimes beyond. Not insulting in tone; implies fond teasing rather than genuine criticism.
