Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Discowatch (“the service”), at discowatch.tv. By using Discowatch, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

What Discowatch is

Discowatch helps you discover Spanish-language TV shows graded to your level and study the key vocabulary for each episode. We are not affiliated with Netflix or any streaming service, and we do not host, stream, or provide the shows themselves. You watch those on the relevant platform, subject to its own terms. Availability of any title may vary by region and change over time.

Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 16 to use Discowatch. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping access to it secure.

Subscriptions & billing

• Discowatch Pro is a paid subscription billed in advance on a recurring basis, through Stripe when you subscribe on the website, or through Apple’s App Store when you subscribe in the iPhone app.
• It renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime, from your account on the website for a Stripe subscription, or from your Apple ID’s subscription settings for an App Store one. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which it stops renewing.
• Introductory prices (a founding or early-bird rate) apply to the subscription you bought them on and stay in force for as long as it keeps renewing. They cannot be transferred to another subscription or reapplied after a cancellation.
• We may change prices or features; we’ll give reasonable notice before a change affects your renewal.

Refunds

Because you can cancel at any time and keep access through the period you’ve paid for, we generally don’t provide refunds for partial periods, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer law, or at our discretion. If something went wrong, email us and we’ll make it right where we can. Purchases made through the App Store are refunded by Apple under Apple’s own terms; request one from your Apple purchase history.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute our content or data;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
• use the service unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights.

Intellectual property

The Discowatch service, including our study packs, vocabulary selections, gradings, and original text, belongs to us. Show titles, artwork, and other trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Disclaimers

Discowatch is provided “as is.” Learning outcomes vary, and we don’t guarantee any particular result, fluency, or that gradings, vocabulary, or availability information are error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Discowatch is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using Discowatch and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Discowatch is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms; we’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, let you know. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
