The Day the Earth Stood Stupid

A made-up exclamation used as a character's personal catchphrase. It carries the tone of cheerful, over-the-top enthusiasm and functions like 'wow' or 'hot dog' in older American English. Not a real Spanish expression, but it appears in the Spanish-dubbed dialogue.

Literally 'street dog'. When directed at a person it functions as a dismissive insult, suggesting the target is worthless or has no status. The derogatory force comes entirely from the figurative extension, which is not obvious from the literal meaning alone.
