Expresses annoyance at someone who keeps showing off a fact or advantage. Closely equivalent to the English idiom but felt as more vivid and informal in everyday Latin American Spanish use.

A fixed phrase meaning the final moment of life, used literally or for dramatic comic effect. Common in melodramatic speech and telenovela-style dialogue.
