Saturdays of Thunder

Literally 'hit it (to me)', used to invite someone to slap your hand as a gesture of agreement, congratulation, or goodwill. Very common in informal Latin American speech, equivalent to 'give me five' or 'put it there'.

Not the same as 'a ver' meaning 'in order to see'. Here it is a filler used to pause while thinking or introducing a tentative response. Its meaning is not derived from 'a' + 'ver' in any literal sense in this usage.

Used as a standalone exclamation of frustration or anger, not as a noun meaning 'a curse' in context. Equivalent to 'damn' or 'damnit' in tone.
