Used to describe someone who is tedious, slow, or chronically irritating to be around. Mild in tone, more exasperated than truly offensive.

The construction 'estar/andar hecho un...' frames someone's behavior as resembling a type of person. Adds emphasis beyond simply calling someone a pelmazo.

In context 'quedar hecho trizas' means to be shattered or destroyed completely, physically or emotionally. The expression is non-compositional: 'trizas' alone rarely appears outside this fixed phrase.
