The Simpsons
With Mr. Burns shot, Chief Wiggum investigates the crime, and nearly everyone in town has a motive. At the end, it all comes down to the Simpson DNA.

Literally 'swallowing flies'. Used to describe someone who is distracted, idle, or standing open-mouthed without acting. Non-compositional: the literal image does not convey the actual meaning.
Literally 'to burn tires'. A vivid colloquial expression for accelerating hard or driving recklessly. Common in Latin American informal speech.
A body-language-rooted idiom: the speaker gestures to their chin or forehead while saying 'hasta aquí', signaling they have reached their absolute limit of tolerance. The gesture is part of the meaning.
Borrowed directly from legal language but used colloquially to declare a matter settled, often dismissively. The speaker treats something as resolved without further debate.
A literary-register phrase used ironically or dramatically. 'Crápula' (depravity, excess, licentiousness) is itself a formal/archaic word rarely heard in everyday speech, making the whole phrase sound deliberately pompous or theatrical.
